Reflections into 2009

Brace yourself for a wall of text. I wanted to do a last post of 2009 but was very busy and so, instead, decided to do a first post of 2010. The blog is inactive but who cares anyway. It's the new year and the air smells the same(Having a blocked nose right now). Last night at Oli's place was crazy and as usual, I paid "Tuition fees" to learn improve my mahjong. The pic above? Well, as long as it's a 2010 pic, it'd do(friends hanging around me should know where I got it from)

Aside from the ramblings, 2009 was quite shitty for me. In fact, my life starts getting better only after 2010 October.

The Bad
A barrage of arguements and fallouts with friends, tight expenses, long period of unemployment, getting pissed by random people without manners, irritated by unreasonable people, trying to act nice to people I do not like but have to socialise with, being taken for granted, screwed by an ancient P4 2.4 dinosaur PC, 7 Sins, regular and big misunderstandings and the list goes on.

The Good
My clique of friends deserve special mention here: Weixiang, Oli, Damien and Jeremy, Thanks for all the fun and games and let this year be a year full of outings and fun as well. Being able to get a job before Christmas enables me to have fun without worries(and being nagged million times over) throughout Christmas and New Year. To Yan Ping and Vincent for being there whenever I need someone, to Liling for hanging out with me, to Nicholas for the Omamori from Japan, Thanks. Mega special Thanks to Weixiang for teaching me so many things.

New Year Resolution
Seriously, these never work but might as well just because someone said that out of 10, definitely at least 1 would be achieved.

1 - Reach Level 35 on Popn' Music on Default difficulty.
2 - Swim at least twice a week
3 - Greatly reduce snacking
4 - Pass JLPT N2
5 - Try to be a better friend
6 - Stabilise my finances ASAP
7 - Become less irritable
8 - Improve in my Jap conversational skills
9 - Create a new specialty food (Last 3 years was Rice balls)

Social exchange theory, of which equity theory is a special case, proposes that the course of social interactions depends on subjective evaluation of the rewards(outcomes) and costs(inputs) involved.
Equity, which is just one interpretation of fairness, is percieved to exist between two people, A and B, when A's outcomes/A's inputs = B's outcomes/ B's inputs. Equity can be applied to a range of transactions, including relationships where the benefits would include affection, emotional support and approval and the costs would include effort, time wasted and money spent. Inequitable relationships can have unpleasant consequences for the participants and are unstable. People who feel that they have received less than they think they deserve given their inputs, will feel angry, resentful and exploited. Those who feel that they have received more than they deserve given their inputs, may experience guilt. When faced with inquity we can change what we contribute or gain from the relationship. Alternatively, we can try to modify our perceptions of our inputs and outcomes so the ratio is no longer perceived as inequitable. ....the fact that i don't win contests, or lottery or generally luck related events. But well, I'm totally cool with it though i believe in the concept of luck.

Last month, I've took part in a Calbee snail mail contest, thinking i could win due to low participant rate. I was right about the low participant rate - the letters and winner names and IC were handwritten. I won 1 out of 1000 consolation prize of an eco-friendly bag tote bag. The collection venue is of course the distributor's factory in the middle of nowhere and so, I wouldn't go through all the trouble to collect it. They could have at least made those collectible at NTUCs or something. No, this is not a complaint. The top prizes are 5 x 2 Tickets to Japan.

Its high time i get a new computer. My 2.4 GHz P4 antique runs as slow as a turtle.

Revelations from a game- CAUTION! Very Wordy

Well, who says games doesn't teach you good human triads? The recent game i completed twice in a straight row, Persona 4, taught me how to face all the different faces and facades of my other selves and to accept them. All the bad sides to me which i will not reveal all of, like my Hypocritical side and so on.
From this, I figured out that to change yourself, the very first step is to accept all your bad qualities first, which people often deny. This will let you see your own bad qualities much more clearly in a different light and put yourself slightly in a more neutral position to judge your own actions and unwanted qualities.

In a nutshell, in the game, the characters are being thrown into the TV world and their other selves are all made to manifest in the form of a doppelganger like character looking exactly like them, which they all deny being part of them when their other selves reveal their often suppressed and bad thoughts to everyone else. After the doppelganger have voiced out the characters' inner thoughts, the characters will reply with a common sentence "You are not me!" and the fight begins. After the fight, they will come to realise that that is the other parts of their own self they must learn to accept to live on.

Characters in the game and their suppressed thoughts:

Yukiko- Makes use of her friend to get popular, wants to date guys but do not have the guts to
Yosuke- Harbours some selfish thoughts (I cannot rememeber clearly)
Rise (Idol) - Wants a good figure to showoff to the public
Kanji- Cannot handle girls and would stick to guys, Feminine-ish punklike character
Naoto-Wants her body to be altered to a guys to fit her Detective image, and to grow up
Teddie-Self denial, in search of his true identity

Those above will not really be understood by people who have not played the game but its basically just saying that all of them have different parts of themselves they want to change and cannot accept at first.

On a completely different note, It is very hard to keep friendships as I came to realise. A LOT of effort is required to inquire about your friend, keep in constant contact, meet up often and various other activities I cannot think of right now. Of course everybody are very busy with their own lives but it is a simple and frequent sms or phone call from time to time that will make that big difference to sustain the friendship, and of cause, to show that you are being appreciated and remembered as a friend and that you care.

This brings me to the concept of Reciprocity Norms which I have learnt in my Psychology classes in school this afternoon. It's just like if your friend appreciates you, treat them well. If they have forgotten about you, forget about them, which is kind of like "an eye for an eye" type of concept. Nobody is stupid enough to give more than they expect to receive, at least not the Me now ( though there is still this small shred of altruism in me left)

This expensive Mechanical pencil - Nu Spiral by Zebra, created by some Japanese professor is ultimate. The grip is of unparalleled comfort. My pencil lead NEVER ONCE broke when writing, not even once! Its ergonomic design makes holding it comfortable.

This pencil is of high quality and worth every single cent i paid for it.

I'm trying to mod my slippers with thumbtacks or other stuff so people who step on the back of my slippers get pierced or something. I would really want to send every single asshat that stepped on my slippers to hell for it is VERY annoying.

Natsu Matsuri 2008 (Summer Festival at JAS)

We were there really early and the rain was quite big. And obviously,the queue had already started.
From Left to Right:Damien, Me and WeiXiang.
Its not a Matsuri if there isn't any yoyo balloons.
I tried this "Roll-the-ball-bowling-game" with Damien. Its hard!

A Natsu Matsuri isn't 1 without :-

1) A Pikachu Mask- These were sold out by the time i went to the shop, i was really dissapointed.

2)Candy Apple(Ame Ringo)- These look really delicious when people were eating them. By the time we found the shop, which we spend a long time hunting for, it was already sold out.

3) Yukata- Very limited Yukatas were rented out. I will buy mine for next Year's Matsuri.

4) A Fan- Everyone was given a fan. I got an ugly 1 but switched it to a Pikachu 1 when i saw the stack at the entrance.

5) There were tons of jap food stalls selling Takoyaki, Yakisoba, Konnyaku, Onigiri, Modanyaki and various other Jap foods and the popular ones had crazy queues.

Your Ice-cream issue!

Well, lets see. Finally i found ice-cream that taste better than Venezia's. Let me present you - Tom's Palette!! There have never been any ice-cream that i tasted before that could even match up or come close to those of Tom's Palette's.

The 2 flavors i tried below are Horlicks(Malt drink) and Granny's Favourite(Chocolate with malt balls and Cookies Dough) , which i both like very much. The taste was simply intense. Putting a spoonful of any of Tom's Palette's ice-cream into your mouth felt equivalent to the strength and quality of the taste of 5 scoops of normal ice-cream together.

I can safely say i have never tasted ice-cream better than these before. And well, you can't really tell by just looking at the pictures so just visit the shop already. I tested the Apple Pie flavor. It tasted exactly like you put an entire slice of real apple pie into your mouth, every spoonful of apple pie flavored ice-cream you take. Its that awesome! The chocolate stout was really strong and had a strong alcoholic aftertaste.

These ice-creams are simply bursting with flavor!
The picture below are from ICE3 (read: ICE CUBE) -- the coolest ice cream cafe. (According to their homepage).
I personally have not try it but it would only be a matter of time before i lose control and go eat their ice-cream.

Thanks to Weixiang for the free ticket, this movie was totally hilarious!Theres humor in almost every minute of the movie and i enjoyed it.Well,its a "must watch" movie.

I need suggestions for a portable sinless and fat-less and probably calorie-less snack i could eat to substitute a meal,anyone has a suggestion?It seems that everytime i skip a meal-intentionally or unintentionally,my stomach starts making strange loud noises which are irritating when im in a quiet classroom.
If not for this,i would be totally skipping every lunch.

Work starts on tuesday,coscon this weekend.

A fun filled day

Well,its a weekday but for some people,its just another holidays after their exams =P
Quite a hectic day,we started with cycling at East Coast beach(ECP).Someone *ahem* Laura apparently played us out the last minute -_-

Nevertheless, we had Astons for lunch.After lunch we met Kai Shan at ECP, which at then,we started cycling and cam whoring(Maybe this part describes Amanda only,which brings me to another topic where someone brought the camera and left the SD card at home O_O)

The package was pretty attractive-3 hours of cycling time and a free drink for $6.Amanda,Adrain,Chang Lin and me cycled while Kai shan was on roller blades.

After the entire ECP Fiasco, we went over to parkway in Kai shan's van.(I had to seat at the back with a boyfriend-on-phone-with-girlfriend-person and get tossed around the van whenever he mades some turns)

At parkway,i met up with Deborah(The long lost friend) and Liling.We had difficulty deciding on dinner because the 3 of us are "anything" persons.We had to move around a lot before deciding to eat at the food court.

After dinner,we wondered around the chopping center and concluded that theres nothing much to shop and so, we winded up at Venezias,where we share a Waffles with Coconut(Me) , Green Tea(Deb) and Mint Choc(Liling) ice cream.And we sat there talking about very interesting stuff.

The sea urchin we took at Sakuraba Fish Market,im pretty obliged to advertise for them after getting permission to take a photo of this.

Im weak against pudding,its like id wither away if i see one and not buy it.

Been a long time since my last post but seems like the tpoic now is food(Though im dieting ).The onigiri(Riceballs) and Octopus sushi was made by me weeks ago. Went Oh-Sho(If i remember correctly) yesterday and had ramen sets for dinner with Weixiang and Alex.The ramen was so-so,i prefer tampopo but i totally love the gyozas, tamagoyaki and fried rice here.We shared a set(Below) and we were so full after eat so much.For desserts,we went somewhere else for mango and Strawberry "Chee Cheong Fun"(Erm,flour?).The mango one tastes awesome and more tasty although the strawberry one looks really great.
About the rest of the food,we were too hungry until we forgot to take pictures of them =_= and have seen Weixiang's Bankai-Bottomless Pit Stomach!

It started with me dropping my Study charm onto the floor.Next the vending machine cheated my money minutes before the exam.I swore i would have wrecked the %&$&*% machine if my exam doesnt start in minutes, therefore, it escaped judgment with just a few kicks.

How many weeks has it been 2? 3? Ive totally lost count. Thought that i would at least recover by my first paper today.Dang, it was like hell when i did my Accounts paper. Felt like vomiting, suppressing my cough so i don't annoy the rest and holding my runny nose.Handicap match?

Which brings me to the conclusion that doctors are useless.They overcharge for medicine and dont do much other than asking some standard question which i already have heard enough times to memorise, everytime i go to a doctor.

Well,lucky ive been mugging really really hard despite my condition and i expect the payoff to be similar.1 down,3 to go,hopefully the next time i blog, im done with everything.For those supporting me and have wished me luck, thank you.

2) The Konami card i bought minutes ago at the arcade (6 SGD) records my arcade game data with game machines that are Online. Works with Otomedius , a touch-screen classic shooter, and....(Drum rolls please) POP N' MUSIC PARTY!!!!The reason why i bought the card for.

It was a Miracle,for a new Pop n' Music machine to appear in Singapore Arcade.I cant express how happy i am ,other than the fact that i spent 30 SGD within a hour playing the game? At $2 per play,its price hurt a student's pocket.

Not updated much?There are little controversial stuff i can declare openly in a country of "Free Speech" so i shall keep quiet, or i may start a private blog soon,saying anything i want to.

I seem to fall sick at the wrong timing everytime.Im sure i wasnt sick for the entire year until the exam period.Around 6 days, struck by a medley of random headaches, flus and nausea. Doctor? Internet and computer hurting as much as reality?

Yes,it pretty much does,if not,then more.

1)When i had my hard disk crashing on me,it felt like that a portion of my memory disappeared from me.Vanished and parts of those i remembered, retrievable.There are rare data and important stuff i cant remember that was in it.I have friends feeling the same when their hard disk crashed.

2)When my pet in a game i was playing ran away due to insufficient food.I left my computer nights and nights on to feed it,apparently i was just minutes late...and i spent a LOT of effort feeding it.Its a total waste of time.It felt as if a real pet of mine ran away ,or more.

3)I have this close online friend of my same age in Talesweaver Korea Online game.His nick was Fruits83.Both of us stopped the game sometime ago when we both entered army.I hope that,by a miracle he sees this and contact me.We were very close friends and he dissapeared without a trace.

At the same time, 2 Heroes i took 3 weeks to rack up on a web browser game i was playing left cos i did not check my upkeep well.Well,its like a combo,im stopping this game.

Apparently,nothing has been going well.I spent 3 hours staring at my blank Accounting assignment and in the notes and i couldnt find an answer to 2 , 2 Marks question which started the long question,obviously i couldnt continue.

Marina outing

Yesterday was exhilarating. After class,we went shopping at Marina.The LEVIS Copper jeans series really caught my eyes.I have 3 days more to decide whether i should get a pair for myself (2nd Pair i will own if i bought this) before the 20% Discount ends on January 1st 08'

The Genting trip.....

...was absolutely sucky.

Why it was GOOD:-

1)I won at the casino.(Explains the extra chips i was able to bring back as souvenir)

2)The theme park was quite fun.Free fall ride looks un-intimidating but when you ride it,its a different story.

3)Movie-Enchanted was really good.

Why it was SUCKY:

1)Wasnt cold enough as many years ago(Global Warming)

2)There are Assholes in my group.

3)We watched a sucky movie-Legend and an Even Suckier performance-"Fly".

4)There wasnt much clothes to shop for.

5)Our time was eaten away due to around total of 12 hours+ travelling in the coach.

6)The food wasnt spectacular.

7)I wasnt really happy cos i got pissed off by Suckers in my group.

Well,and so the moral of the story is-Dont go overseas with irritating people in your group,they make the trip less enjoyable,or spoil it.Oh well,some of them had their retributions anyways.

My classmate just sent in his CREATIVE mp3player for repairs too. The bottomline-Dont buy any CREATIVE mp3players.

EDIT:OH GREAT. Now my mp3player just stopped working minutes ago.....
I just saw this wireless SD card on Yahoo news,i think its awesome.

Oh yea,to my NTU and NUS friends having exams now, good luck for your papers and dont be too stressed up.Which reminds me its less than 2 weeks to my JLPT(Japanese Proficiency Test) and im really looking forward to it!

My December this year's gunna get exciting. From JLPT4 to my Mum's Birthday to Genting Trip to Christmas to the few undecided dates for Jap KTV (YAY!!), not to mention its a cold month.

Creative mp3player

To Whomever it may concern,

I sent in my mp3player-Zen V Plus 2 Gig black/green on 1st NOV after the same problem happening for the 4th time.

The previous 3 times i had the same problem-the player would hang when charging and would be unable to startup nor able to be reset after that.This problem happens once in around every 2-3 months.I brought the player to the shop 3 times for the same problem and they charged it at their shop and it worked.And so they returned it without making a log of the problem.

I had the player replaced once before last year because of a line of dead pixel on the screen.I even told the people in the Plaza Singapura branch that the same problem happened a few times and whether they can take in and repair it.However,they kept saying nothing has happened since they were able to charge the player.So i wasn't able to get them to send in the player last 2 times i asked.

Before i collected the player yesterday,i told the person the same thing and he said there wasn't any logs made of the previous 3 times i came.And he dismissed all my reasons with merely the fact that my product is not under warranty anymore.

If so,i would be advising all my relatives,friends and network never to buy creative products anymore as they would only last as good as during the warranty period.Like another customer who sent in his Zen vision player 1 of the times i dropped by the shop to repair my player,his player had problems once every 2-3 months too.

I am totally dissatisfied with such service and would never be buying another creative product again if this remains unresolved.I sent in a hung player and it came back with a line of dead pixel.Logs were not made for my visits to the center.I had used various mp3players before this like iriver and sony and none of them had any software nor hardware problems.

The person who picked up my call regarding the collection of my mp3player was very rude to me.When i asked whether my mp3player was ready and repaired ,he replied saying "if i received the sms saying its ready for collection,it definitely must be already repaired lah".Talking to customers this way is totally uncalled for,not mentioning about him forgetting all the formalities over the phone.

Please look into this matter and reply ,My Mobile number is xxxxxxxxxxx.

Yes,that hit the spot when i had to write a complain letter when i dont even have enough time for myself,and coming, 2 days later, is the creative warehouse sale,well you decide whether your going after this.

YES!!!Finally my 2.7Kg package arrived from UK!EH,i havent bought anything this time but whats inside are my study materials for my Banking and Finance this year -_- Time to mug hard!

Well,if you see me in school please gimme a holler.If i pass by you without calling you,its just because my sensor is always off and im constantly thinking about (creating) something else.And dont say im "Dao"(Hokkien equivalent of Proud) if i dont call you.(More like didnt notice)

The best thing anyone can do for me now is to bring me to the Jap KTV once more,though i think its almost impossible now with everyone's schedule...

Japanese KTV at Cash Studio

I was seriously struck hard yesterday!The KTV had all the new songs from Ikenai Taiyou-ORANGE RANGE to Sorairo Days-Gurren Lagann OP (which me and Hwangbin aka Hiyoko-kun sang) to tons and tons of anime OP and EDs.

Liling was happy with her game and indies songs while me and Hiyoko-kun banged on the anime song list.Unexpectedly,Liling has good voice and can hit high notes well,that leaves me and Hiyoko-kun feeling bad haha.She sang difficult songs like Claymore's OP-Raison D'tere, Bump of Chicken-Karma(Tales of Abyss) which are the few i could remember.

It was really fun and i cant wait to go again,only short of company to go as we sang purely Jap songs,anyone interested in the next round?

Pic: Endearmints from Fish n Co. It tasted so good i went to buy a KG, to find out that eventually,anything when consumed in huge amounts, nets a crazy diminishing utility.

As contrary to most people that think that its better for guys to be tall, i dont find it so after experiencing it(or rather,its passive).Then,i wished to be shorter so i dont have to slouch so much that my shoulder and back hurt so much when using the computer, nor need to be afraid of hitting the top of the bus when departing and of course, the list goes on.Well,lets keep the complaining at that and i move on to what happened today.

Apparently,i wasnt fated to sing JapKtv?This is like the 2nd time something screwed up?1st time was with SK and she said she had no mood for KTv that day.I was really dissapointed as i went all the way to Orchard(Town) for the purpose of KTV but ended up we just shopped around.
Today,a friend played us out,leaving only me and Liling.We went to the JapKtv place to check out the price even though we werent going to.

Games room-game 4.Whack a Bunny or Frog with a hammer.Girls have weird expressions when playing this game.Rules:-Bunny=10 points,Frog=30 points, Break the hammer= -20 points.Its really fun seeing how they lure people into hammering by shaking the bunny to spite a hit without coming out.

Games room-game 2.Eh,i did badly in this 1.You gotta use a paperclip hook attached to a string to fish out the balloons. Usually the hook will lose balance and fly off,ending your game.
Takoyakis not for takeaway!
Took a photo cos we were bored queuing for the haunted house. We spend like 2 hours queueing for it but its worth the wait!The best attraction, the haunted house was done perfectly! With slimy floors to step,holes to climb,super dark room all confined within a Lecture Theater.

We were given a blood stained letter and a lantern when we entered. Later when posting the letter at the mail box, a hand came out from the postbox!That was a real good 1 that got me.And of course,throughout,girls were screaming like crazy.

Games room-game 3.You shoot down stuff with a chopstick made rubberband gun.Seems almost impossible.

Well,that wraps up everythign and all the fun me and Weiqin had today!Im exhausted...but i cant wait for next years!

Me at Takoyaki cafe!They were looping ORANGE RANGE's Ikenai Taiyou at the entrance of the cafe,unlike other hotspots, this cafe have a relatively short queue although we queued more than an hour for the takoyaki coupons.

Kono Takoyaki wa sugoku umai ze! This takoyaki taste really good!With Potato salad on the side. I LOVE Jap potato salad as well as Takoyaki!Oh,they served charcoal brewed tea which taste really good too!

As im typing this,im plugged on to my new SONY MDR-EX85LP NUDE EX Earphones imported from Hong Kong YesAsia.com
Kudos for the free shipping and i must tell you the sound quality is absolutely awesome so much so i dont want to remove it!It is that heavenly, old songs or your favorite tracks gets breathed new life into it as you hear more surround sound music and some extra chords or studio quality sound you never heard before.(My own source)

I imported a blue set as Singapore carries only black and the easy-to-get-dirty white color.

I read reviews everywhere and they said the huge 13.5 mm driver unit is reason for the awesome sound quality.There is another version with higher frequency and of course, at a higher cost. Imagine how godly that is if this is already almost perfect.

Enough ranting about the earphones,lets see...Ive been tired and busy with work and lately Persona 3's released got me totally crazy since Odin Sphere on PS2.What is cooler than a high School guy protagonist with cool headphones dangling from the neck?

Well, sorry for the lack of posts but i have been slaving my ass off for some measly allowance everyday until late so much so that i got sick.Ive got bad flu now and slight fever.
Had sore throat but i always cure my sore throat best with "Cepastat" Lozenges which i recommended to every friend with sore throat.It can be bought at all regular pharmacies and personally i think its the best sore throat medicine available.

Moving on,we have several new Japanese Gadgets once again!Starting with......
...........The FLYING ALARM CLOCK!!!!!!! Too bad i bought a time bomb alarm clock or i would have definitely purchased this.

Human player!Human-Tanmagotchi synthesis?Mating?

Well what happened today in the office was, some part-time worker coffee on my table.Whats the natural thing to do after you spilled a drink on somebody else's table?Its to immediately clean it up right?He didnt have such a common sense and he left the spill all over the place until i came back.
To add on he wasnt even wanting to clean up the spill he made and some of the coffee hit my handphone strap.If the coffee hit my phone i would have definitely made him buy another phone for me.And to add more fuel to fire,he was smiling when asking me whether i was angry.I really cant stand such insolence. It takes 1 stupid person like this to spoil 1/2 my day.

No offense but i really feel that people using (eXaMpLe) alternately sized fonts are really trying to act cute.

Moving on, i must really say this but people who only say that something is bad,example Terrorism, are really shallow.There are reasons and ideals why things happen and why Mass Media controls what we see and brainwash our ideals. And of course why people and Mass Media creates a false consciousness in all of us making everyone think that evil is bad and general statements like this.

A simple example would be to define what is classified or considered as a "Mad" Person and should be admitted to a Mental hospital?Someone who is crazy and does crazy actions or unacceptable behaviors or actions?Then again i must ask you what is considered as crazy or unacceptable?Im sure by now you know that such terms are entirely subjective to the human race and that to totally put something obvious as a correct statement,is like following the crowd.

If you studied Sociology,you would have understood that Common-Sense is subjective and Objective knowledge produced without Bias are the only form of knowledge used in a research.

Precisely because the existence of such people that people "Different" from them are considered as weird or out-casted or even, condemned.There are many junior school students suffering because of this.

If you cant accept some level of logic of this passage i just wrote,you could just ignore it or flame me,neither which i care.But if you are with me,then i say we can view and analyze things in a different way.
And to tell the truth,im actually writing this in response to someone who cannot argue with facts and only argue with common sense knowledge.

Ive been at Hokkaido Jap fair At Tampines Mall a few times and im sure theres a long queue for the Butter Manju cake everytime im there so i have not managed to get any this year.
Well i tried the fluffy sweet potato cake instead and the pudding below in a glass bottle i could keep ^^I took this in my office, a huge Clamp-like stapler and a normal type.
And well,(From left to right) Vincent,me and Liling and the mysterious Person who took the photo doesnt wish to be revealed.We were eating Bens and Jerry's Ice-cream in Macdonalds cos there wasnt any seats around.It was the 1st time and i totally love it.

I had a 2nd round the next day.My favourite flavour now-Cherry Garcia.Huge ball of vanilla ice-cream with thick slabs and yet miniscule chocolate chips with thick, luscious and obvious cherries made it my favourite!Its like a vanilla black forest or rather white forest,haha.

It was a really fun night.After ice-cream,they went my house and we were You-Tubing Japanese Music Videos.

Work was really fun and im very happy in my office right now,even though i had to work overtime everyday.Everyday i learn a lot.

Thanks to "Ah Lian" for her 30% staff discount at Pastmania, me and Liling went Pastamania again today.I had an Alfredo and mango Pizza,the mango Pizza totally rocks.The amount of mangoes on the pizza was generous that it will slip off the pizza itself when you consume a slice.

Today we studied a song lyric in Japanese lesson.I must admit the lessons are getting harder and harder.

Introducing-Cube World.These gadgets come with magnets on all 4 directions and can be linked with each other.The stick figures will interact with each other and cross over to the other screens when linked.2 is enough for activities but if you join 4 like above,there will be more activities.Things that those figure can do includes skipping,playing with pet etc.

With Liling,Vincent and Qiu Yue,we watched Pirates 3 9Pm show and it ended at 12 -_- Well,we are sure theres gunna be a "Pirates 4:The spring of Life" next year.We had Mos burgers for dinner and i must admit,no matter how many times i ate the Kakiage rice burger(Seafood) it still taste out of this world.

Not related to the post but this chocobo sleeps with me every night so girls please dont be jealous(I can hear your swoons already)

Lets see i spent $15 on an anime magazine that gave me a poster,which i Laminated for $25 cos its so hugeass and it kept falling even though i put it up with 15+ blobs of thick blue-tac and i just put it up again,with 3M's special removable adhesive strips that cost me $5.Advertising for 3M?Dont get me wrong,its just that i ended up spending so much to put a poster on top of my bed. Its rather dangerous cos it hit me 3-4 times when it dropped when i was sleeping,lucky not at any vital areas.
Oh,by the way its a poster of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu thats damn cool with many scenes in the anime.

Lately theres been this dumb SMRT video clip with the title " How to be Vigilant" ,dang,which reminds me of my NS unit(ATEC) slogan-"Strike Swiftly,Vigilant always,Opfor!" ok,lets not sidetrack.Well,i was saying the video is really lame,let me summarise it a little for the sake of foreign viewers.

The video shows a overly suspicious with criminal-faced man without Shades(Yes,i MUST emphasize this!) who boards the MRT all suspicious looking. And a few passenger noticed that he left a black bag underneath the seat.And so they showed him looking ultra suspicious and glancing aroundand later,after slipping the black bag under the MRT seat,he tried to leave and this is when an aunty stopped him and another man used the communication thingy to alert the Mrt driver.This clip is being looped at the mrt plasma screens and im starting to find it annoying.

Real criminals and terrorists dont behave this way and even though its just an example video,its too exaggerated.His actions are so canned and scheduled thats its so dumb and lame watching it everytime im waiting for my train or trying to wait for the train timing to appear on the screen.

Hmm talking about SMRT,i have some issues with them.Time and again the public transports have been deducting wrong amountsfrom EZ-Link cards,and its always extra ,not less...so,Singaporeans,pls check your balance before and after u tap the card,and of course there has been many reported cases of such events happening.

The other day,i was asking WeiQin to sit for the Maths paper for me at Expo with my IC.And of course i was joking -_- Apparently,he told me that he looks more handsome than me and that the examiner will find out because of that.The Nerve! Been studying overnights at Changi Airport Macdonalds,its a perfect place.Motivation coms from the tons of students that study overnight there relentlessly.Even though ive just been there a few times im sure i recognised 2 groups that are there 24/7 and almost forever.Ive seen groups stay there more than 10 hours +

My Jap test was just over today and m really looking forward to JLPT 4!

I cant wait for my exams to end,it will be "Put your hands up in the air" Action for at least an entire week!

My health awareness has increased and a friend recommends Cod Liver Oil.No Fructose(Its poisonous),no saturated fats,no Aspartame(Artificial sweeterner coming from sugarfree food like Fisherman's friend,Diet Coke,Lackerol etc) no more Fast food junkie and anti-French fries.

For those having exams or mugging,go eat some Kit-Kats ,it makes you pass exams,the Jap meaning for it is -Kitto Katsu meaning "Sure Win"

Darn,it appears that i cant last long studying stuff that require endless reading.
Without 10 Hours of sleep,i couldnt last more than 1 hour studying Management after my mind starts wondering about...and i start feeling extremely sleepy for the entire day.

And with 7 Hours of sleep,i didnt even yawn once throughout the entire 8 hours without break on my Econs.

Man i cant believe it.The Roasted Pork "Char Shao or Char Siew" we termed gets replaced by cheap vegetarian types across all hawker center,Breaded fish with 5% trace of fish inside it, Nasi lemaks(Coconut rice) WITH Record breaking Paper thin egg(0.05 mm) in it?What less are Singaporeans gunna cut down or replace with cheap substitute next?

There wasnt Econs today cos it ended and i get to sleep til late morning.Stats was in the afternoon and the lecturer is Raymond.Sitting in my row from left to right,we got Bao An(Security guard and Serene's fling),Foong Yi(The on-off contact lens woman),Mao Fen(Miss Mao that gets carried by the wind =P),me in spectacles(1st time out of army),Valerie(Cold woman,Big eyes,Ahem Ahem...crasher),WenQi(She wore a texted top today),Bimbo Serene(Please dont jump inside the lift!!!!!!!!!!) and finally, Syiffa(K-Drama Junky),our leader.

I survived today with cornflakes as breakfast,class snack as lunch(An egg sandwich and horrendous Vegetable Pie XP Bleah) and night time after lessons i studied all the way up to 8:10 pm in the students lounge,my brain totally drained @_@

IBM Prelims as well as the Bazaar's first day happens at the same day next week.....

Tommorow is a killer.....With Sociology in the morning and IBM which tends to last up til 5:10 pm+

Went hair Herbal treatment with Serene today at Pasir Ris,It was my first time and im surprised the amount of equipment they can hold in a HDB flat.House Salons are getting more popular recently and despite the 8 Hair steaming machines,there are still people queuing,throughout the day!This shows how good their business are and their herbal tratment for hair is Damn cheap.I did mine for $20 and Serene did a Spa treament for $35 so cheap com-pared to market rates.And they did a good job too.

Finally ,inevitably the sorethroat comes!Its still at a controllable state right now,least i decide to pop another 1 of those Royce chocos into my mouth...i must restrain.And its the time now i need chocolates....im all stressed,i had to rush the darn IBM assignment even though ims ick and having a minor headache and flu.Oh yea ,the sore throat is definitely due to the crazy amount of seedweed i ate.I love seaweed and i eat it as if its gunna fill up my stomach......its irresistable,packets after packets ate =P~

Schools starting tommorow and i still have yet to settle the stupid RELC payment after requesting for a wrong amount of educational loan from the bank.

Yeah!I completed Osu!Tatakae! Oendan! on my brothers DS Lite in 3 Straight hours on my 1st playthrough!Thanks to hearing Ready Steady go more than a thousand times on my mp3player years ago,i got a perfect rythmn on the song even though tis the hardest last stage track.

Man it costs only $2 cheaper than at Playasia website when buying from KKnM...and i thought i heard $26 yesterday on the phone instead of the $36 i paid for the chocobo.Either way,im totally happy with the chocobo.Its cute and the magic book is nicely done too.

I was early at KKnM today and the shopkeeper was busy setting up the shop.Well,i saw a Higurashi no Naku Koroni handphone strap which i really wanted badly!Its a bloody(Not literally,really bloody) strap with Rena's Machete(Cleaver).Awesome!And if i din have my School Rumble Eri Mail block,i would have bought the Jigoku Shoujo 1!

And there was this 2 girls before me in the queue they were joking and laughing over every single thing i find it hilarious and couldnt control my laugh.And so i looked weird trying to control a laugh -_- Most of the customers at KKnM are money demons,they spend without hesitation.The girls were commenting how cheap a Mug is for $18 and stuff.

Royce Nama Chocolates.Behold!The legendary chocolates i would murder and rape(Er perhaps not rape...) to have a box of!The chocolates are packed in this silver foil wrappin with Royce branded ice packs which keep the chocolates cold for 5 hours!Ive never purchased something requiring so much "Protection before!After unwrapping it at home,i noticed that i spilled a lot of Cocoa dust onto the table.

Man the chocolate is really heavenly.Its a taste you will not forget and the lingering aftertaste is godly!Well you should try 1,theres a branch in Takashimaya and another at Suntec.The price is reasonable too,considering that it is branded and famous.Btw,Royce's first international Branch is in Singapore!

For the 1st time,i went for a Concert at Victoria hall and it was great.Although Liling and i purchased the 4th tier tickets,our view was still ok even though the people sitting in front of us blocked us a little.Hwang Bin was there too and after the concert we queued for the autographs of the composers and musicians. I was quite broke so i didnt buy their CD.

The female violinist,Ayako Ishikawa looks darn gorgeous upfront!The other violinist,Yura was cool!And the most famous out of them is the composer who did music for Chrono Cross and Trigger-Yasunori Mitsuda.

After that we went TCC with the rest of the Channel FF people and we stayed there til it closed at 2.Everyone took out their PSP and the girls all have DS.Dang,looking at girl beside me playing Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan made me want to buy a DS soooo much for just that game,and of course i have other games im interested in like Animal crossing,Contact,FF3 and Mario Cart.

Even though i dont know most of the people there,i feel like part of the community of gamers ^_^
And SK , even though i just met her,she is totally amazing.

And thanks to Liling for the tops and Birthday present,i like them.

Tonight will be the night of drinking and gaming like last year,i wonder whose turn it is to get drunk this year.......
